Waiting for? Next Action? Agenda?

I am still a bit confused to differentiate these:

a) Rodrigues needs to call Zeni at Frango Natto to follow up on the proposal. Rodrigues is already aware of this, I informed him of this, so this is under @Waiting for

b) Rodrigues needs to write a Thank You letter to Jotude. Rodrigues IS NOT aware of this, so this is under @Agendas

c) I need to speak with Rodrigues regarding monies we are to receive for a sponsorship. Rodrigues informed me on Friday that he was going to see them, but I have not spoken to him since. WHAT IS THIS CLASSIFIED AS?

Yes, I would say it's...

Yes, I would say it's a project - any desired outcome that takes 2 or more steps to complete - though I'm not sure that this particular example is a "desired outcome" by my standards. :o

Maybe the only thing I would do differently is that I wouldn't phrase the waiting for item as an action. Rather my waiting for items indicate who and what I'm waiting for: e.g., Bob - Monthly Report (5/20). [The date is when I delegated the task.]

Phrasing the items on the waiting for list as actions can be confusing. Rather, the waiting for list is there to prompt actions: e.g., I might scan my waiting list and say, "Hmm, I should check in with Bob to see how he's doing on the monthly report." Then I can add the action to one of my context lists.

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
