Yay Nay Hanging folders

I read in a GTD article that hanging folders were a no no. I don't see why these would be a problem in the 43 folders or GTD system. Please chime in GTD Ninjas 7 Comments

I know hanging folders aren't orthodox GTD, but I've never had a problem with them, and they save me from having to futz with the block (I think that's what they call the sliding wall in the back of the drawer) to make sure the drawer is tight enough to keep any of the folders from slipping down. But, I don't try to use the folders for anything other than a place to put my manila folders - that is, I don't try to categorize with them at all. The only management of the folders that I do is making sure they're not too full. So, there you have the "yay" side of it... » POSTED IN:
