who is using plain txt to gtd?
ezichko | Feb 27 2007
hi: Who is using any of the plain txt solutions to implement gtd? I have tried the todotxt.com script but found it a bit limited. I am using kgtd and I miss some of the features in other systems. Like the actions page, the outline capabilities, being able to enter tasks using quicksilver, easily apply contexts etc... I hate the sync button in kgtd and that the file is oo3 so i want to move to something txt based but didnt find a proper solution yet. What do you recommend? 8 Comments

I know a lot of people use emacs org-mode. I imagine some of them will be chiming in here soon. I use Vim Outliner for project planning. It has checkboxes, nice color highlighting, and is lightning fast. It wouldn't be too hard to add context symbols (@home, @office, etc.) to each action and then set up a script to pull out and organize actions by context. » POSTED IN:
