Geekiness factor
mdl | Mar 24 2007
Quick question everyone: I have come to depend on GTD (implemented on a hipster PDA). I have, however, received several jokes (some not so kind) from friends and co-workers when I pull out my index cards. They think I'm some sort of obsessive freak if I jot something down on my hipster or check a reference card. They've also made fun of the apparent "nerdiness" of the index cards fastened with a binder clip. I suppose I could use a Moleskine. But I really like the flexibility of index cards. I'm wondering if there's anyway I could make the whole system less obtrusive. I suppose I could keep single index cards in my pocket for situations where the hipster might seem to weird. Any advice? 11 Comments

Another idea for a 3x5 caseSubmitted by JeffZimm on January 1, 2008 - 9:38am.
I'm new to this site and using 3x5 cards. I was looking for a case that was soft and easy to use. I stumbled upon a passport case (Kenneth Cole $20). There are others available as well. This one holds 20+ cards on each side and a pen can clip in the middle. Additionally a rubberband on the cover can keep the card I need to be looking at on the front outside cover. This may be an old idea, but I thought I'd share it too. » POSTED IN:
