Geekiness factor

Quick question everyone: I have come to depend on GTD (implemented on a hipster PDA). I have, however, received several jokes (some not so kind) from friends and co-workers when I pull out my index cards. They think I'm some sort of obsessive freak if I jot something down on my hipster or check a reference card. They've also made fun of the apparent "nerdiness" of the index cards fastened with a binder clip. I suppose I could use a Moleskine. But I really like the flexibility of index cards. I'm wondering if there's anyway I could make the whole system less obtrusive. I suppose I could keep single index cards in my pocket for situations where the hipster might seem to weird. Any advice? 11 Comments

Quick question everyone: Where it with pride. As long as you have your 5417 together, what does it matter? Anyway, I would probably turn the tables and make fun of them for being disorganized and forgetful. But, if you want something nicer and more grown up, you could consider some of the levenger products, especially the Circa 3X5 notebooks. I think a rope case for storage and a Circa for regular use would be a great combination. Plus, I'm totally in love with that new blue color they put out. » POSTED IN:
