BOOK vs CD ?
Henry B | Mar 14 2007
Newbie and am ready to pull the trigger on "the book" as is it referred to often here. I see that "the CD" is also available and wondered if any of you could share what worked well for you. In particular, has anyone used the CD's as their primary learning mode? I personally like to read and mark learning material up so I can quickly find and review important stuff. However, I did listen to Covey's 7 Habits on CD and it is somewhat practical and enjoyable as well - giving my eyes a rest and taking advantage of driving time. Thoughts  7 Comments

I recently got the book, slightly used, on Amazon.com and really enjoyed reading it, when I could. The only time I have to read though is at home, with the family around all the time. They don't exactly understand what Quiet Time is.. I tried at night when they all went to bed but my brain was too tired to absorb it the way I wanted to so I walked in Borders Books and picked up the audiobook. David Allen reads it and I just love it! The one hour commute, each way, is the best use of my commute time I've thus thought of. You can flip through the different chapters and relisten to section if you get distracted (by driving!). it's all good. » POSTED IN:
