A Folder is a Folder is a Folder?
Lord Yo | Mar 11 2007
GTD writes a lot about using folders; I'm German-speaking, and "folder" can mean so many things - a big, sturdy file folder in which you file hole-punched papers; lighter, single folders in which you can store paper without hole-punches ; or just transparent plastic folders for a couple of sheets. For a project or reference system, the second option sounded best to me - what do you think/use? 4 Comments

I use the beige file...Submitted by Craig on March 11, 2007 - 11:17am.
I use the beige file folders (made of cardstock paper) for reference materials, stored in a file cabinet. I use the translucent document sleeves (made of poly material) for both current project support and agenda folders, stored on my desktop. Anything that would require hole-punching is way to fiddly for me. DA's advice about cutting out any friction that could keep me from filing things applies here, I think. » POSTED IN:
