tagging files on pc, mac or linux

Hi: In some situations I feel folders are better and in others tags. Punakea is great but I fear about what to do If i have to access my files on a pc. How are you dealing with tags on mixed computer environments? 2 Comments

Use the metadata in the file for tagging. For example in OpenOffice you have a description, subject, title, and keywords field you can use. Thats really the only thing I have found that will go across OS's. .pdf's have metadata as well as .jpg, .tif, etc » POSTED IN:
