I'm a very disorganized person, but the biggest issue I have is with my pockets. They are always getting out of control... how do you guys deal with your pockets and keep them effecient etc? 4 Comments

Like nearly everything we deal...Submitted by randellt on January 15, 2007 - 7:18pm.
Like nearly everything we deal with in this realm, you must be disciplined. I carry my cash, Space Pen, a small pad of paper and receipts I accumulate through the day in my left front pocket. My wallet (a Slimmy), eyeglass towelette and lip balm are in my right front pocket. I keep my back pockets clear to help keep my back in good shape. I try to wear a shirt with a pocket so I can carry a few index cards and a full size pen (my beloved Montblanc). At the end of *every* day I drop all my receipts in my inbox at home and my spare change in my coin jars--after a few months the change builds up to a nice rainy day fund. If you accumulate a lot of paper, try a Moleskine Memo Pocket or a plastic 3x5 card file. That way you can keep all the paper together but out of sight in your backpack or whatever bag you carry. The real trick is getting your daily carry down to the bare minimum you need to function. Even eliminating unneeded cards from your wallet so you can keep that small and out of your back pocket makes a difference. » POSTED IN:
