When and How to Integrate Slpit Systems

I am trying to implement the ?Action List? part of GTD. Currently I keep my lists analog, using a notepad. My problem is trying to maintain 2 separate lists, one for work and one for home. Has anyone here combined their work and home list? Does anyone have any trick to help me do this? 4 Comments

I keep seperate lists for my general project lists, but my context lists are kept together, though, there are certain tasks which go on the @Work context, which I ignore at home, and there are others which go on the @Home context, which I occasionally peruse at work just to see what I have in store at home, but don't really pay attention to unless I'm actually at home. Now, the biggest weakness in my GTD system is in the Home arena, as we were going through selling and buying a house, and a move, so I haven't been able to really get things set up there, but that's my hope for the next few weeks. As the home list grows, perhaps I'll need to further separate the contexts (though this may be just a further refinement of what they are) and potentially break the Someday/Maybe into seperate Work and Personal lists. » POSTED IN:
