I am trying to implement the ?Action List? part of GTD. Currently I keep my lists analog, using a notepad. My problem is trying to maintain 2 separate lists, one for work and one for home. Has anyone here combined their work and home list? Does anyone have any trick to help me do this? 4 Comments

I keep separate lists for home and work -- separate project, someday/maybe and context lists. This is because: I work in an industry where they're (justifiably) worried about taking stuff out of work. I don't want to think about work stuff at home more than I have to The contexts are different. From an 'actions' list point of view, the last is the most important. I can't, for example, prune that rosebush when I'm at work. I can't do an audit when I'm at home. So keeping two sets of lists is sensible. I did try to combine them for a while, but decided that it was better this way. Steve » POSTED IN:
