Where can I buy pre-made 43 folder tickler system?

I'm lazy. Has anyone ever found Avery labels or pre-cut and labelled tickler files, or has everyone just made thier own? Thanks. 10 Comments

I just took 43 folders...Submitted by Chrome47 on November 30, 2006 - 7:36am.
I just took 43 folders out of the box of manilla folders, 12 of them with tabs on one side, and the remaining 31 had the tabs on the other side, so that months and days are distinguishable. If you don't trust your handwriting (I don't think many people do), you can use your labelmaker (you have one, don't you? ;-) ) to label them all 1 - 31 and January - December. Or just write on them with a Sharpie like I did. That's all there is to it. It took me probably 15 or 20 minutes total. I keep my tickler folders in their own inbox tray, underneath the regular inbox. I don't use the tickler that much, but it has been useful for reminding myself of things that need to be done in advance (like to send my mortgage payment next week, since I get paid tomorrow!). If you really don't feel like making one, you can try one of those accordion files from Office Depot or Staples or wherever, and there are some that have the days all on them. Most of the ones I've seen, though, are alphabetical. The disadvantage to this method is that you can't put "today" at the front like you can with a traditional Tickler File. You can also try using a bill sorter, which I suppose some people use to "tickle" when they should send their bills. I'd run a search for "sorter" or "accordion file" on one of those websites. Good luck! » POSTED IN:
