Next Actions

How do you organize/store your "next actions," and how do you actually use that list/info on a daily basis?

I stick my projects list...

I stick my projects list in the "Memos" section of my Palm, and I have a different memo for each "area of my life" (e.g. home, work, college, exercise, friends/family, etc) - I only really did this to organise them a bit though, it's a pain scrolling through 50-70 projects. I tend to find I don't look at them so much on the move, more when I'm at my computer, so it works out for me to have them in a slightly inconvenient list form.

If you want some advice from David Allen himself, he has a pdf on his website on how he uses the palm. Go here:

You have to register and download it from the online store, but it's free.

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
