Next Actions

How do you organize/store your "next actions," and how do you actually use that list/info on a daily basis?

I use Pocket Informant on my PDA.

Tasks are organised by contexts (normally more than one), e.g. a phone call to make whilst it home goes int0 my @calls list and my @home list. (then things like @computer + @home etc)

I can then use contexts to see what calls I need to make at home.

I have two project lists "Projects Home" and "Projects Work". This has a list of projects with lists of steps in the notes section. NAs for projects are added to contexts as at the top and then linked to the project item in the project list.

Seems to work so far and allows me to easily see the NAs for any given project by looking at its links and later steps by looking at its notes.

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
