Help me stick to it

I flout my GTD, all the time.

I'm currently having real difficulties following my GTD routine and because of this i'm letting things slip. I've recently been getting home from work and not doing anything at all, flouting my next actions and deciding what to do there and then (which usually involves playing games or watching TV).

Today i'm sat in work and i don't even have a copy of my NA's or my moleskine to hand, i've left them abandoned at home in my bag.

I love GTD but i'm having great difficulty applying myself to it. Has anyone got any suggestions which may help me stick to my routine?

Hey Allen, I just finished the...

Hey Allen,

I just finished the Now Habit on Tuesday night and it was a really good read. I found a lot of little things (and ways of thinking about things) that will help me out greatly.

I will probably not do the whole Unschedule thing. I don't usually block out time for anything personal...you really can't with a 3 yr old and a 3 month old in the house.

Jason and I are talking about creating a book recommendation section on BBP. We have different areas of interest. If we do this, Now Habit will definitely be in there with our highest rating (as yet to be determined).

Michael

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »
