Anyone else suffer from list-bloat?
terrym | Jun 1 2006
Does anyone else suffer from lists that are just too large and fuzzy to be of any use? I use Outlook for my lists, but I'm sure this could apply regardless of system. I put too much down on my list, without properly framing it, without giving it the right verb, without checking I've not already got it there in the first place, with the result that every now and then I need to scrap the entire list and start again. Is it just me? Are everyone else's lists right first time? Does anyone else struggle specifically with list of projects? Does anyone really bother with the 'anything two action steps or over' idea? Or is it just me that thinks this demands too much maintenance? I ramble on at greater length here, and don't get me started about e-mail! 10 Comments

Thats why I've kept with sub todo's, sometimes there are items I want to do that are related to another or dependant upon another. By having the tree showing the subs I can decide easier on what i want to get done first, be it a single top level task or multiple related. » POSTED IN:
