D3 - A new Kinkless GTD Tiddly Wiki
TedPavlic | Apr 19 2006
Check out: http://wiki.43folders.com/index.php/D3 and: (see the "Getting Started" page and some of the example projects) A while back, I put together a prototype of GTD Tiddly Wiki Plus that provided simple "kinkless-like" functionality. It was meant to just show how TW might be used for GTD. The downside of kGTDTWP was that it was pretty slow and large. Now someone has gone ahead and created a plugin that speeds up the "kinkless" actions within a TiddlyWiki. Plus, it goes ahead and implements really everything that is implemented within true kGTD (except it doesn't allow you (CURRENTLY) to MANUALLY assign "next" actions; it always picks the next action in a project/subproject). Someday soon someone should combine D3 wiith the GTD style used in kGTDTWP. This should create something that looks identical to kGTDTWP but performs MUCH better. 6 Comments

Warning! Unresponsive script! That's funny. I haven't received that error with d3 once. This used to be a common error with TiddlyWiki in general in Firefox. It's a very large JavaScript, so sometimes Firefox would have trouble loading it all on the first try. Usually clicking "Continue" once gets rid of it. Mac users may want to try Camino, a native OS X web browser made by Mozilla. It has a similar interface as Firefox (though no plugins), but is much faster in OS X. It can make for a smoother browsing experience in general, and I imagine it can improve GTD performance because of that. » POSTED IN:
