let me suggest you try living with it yourself for about three months and see if you still use the audio recorder.

As a heads up, here's how it failed for me. impossible to index. My wife needed the same information for our family and business calendars. Same is true for task lists. Information became hidden extremely quickly (now where did I record that appointment for XYZZY co?). Lack of clarity or obliqueness because of other people in area of recording.

It's almost that the point where it might make sense for me to use a small stencil set to allow me to form letters clearly. Interestingly, the original PalmPilot graffiti was relatively easy for me to use because I had a large area to write in, recognition was robust in the face of my my tremors, and if I use a big fat stylus, it didn't hurt my hands as much. The reason the PalmPilot failed was because I could not get a consistent backup or synchronization working and lost data too many times.
