Hello all. I am brand new to the GTD system (Started one week ago). I am haveing some problems finding a good trusted system. I asked Merlin for advice and he directed me to you the reader for help. Omigod, duien...that is the most helpful post I've read yet on implementing GTD successfully. I think the difficulty I'm having--which I can only imagine is exponentially worse for supersmart, 'real' geeks (I'm just a wannabe hack)--is that I love the shiny objects. Stripping things down to the most basic elements is a GREAT hack for me. I'm planning to implement GTD over the holidays (did a half-assed implementation 2 years ago and fell off the wagon) and this is a great start. Plus, I get to buy myself a TREAT: Moleskine calendar!
