GTD and Brain Excercises
forgeron | Apr 12 2006
I just read an article Simple ways to make yourself far cleverer, and it says among other things that: Quote: (emphasis mine).
The programme found that a combination of techniques based on healthy eating, physical activity, sound sleep and stimulating your mind through solving puzzles and remembering lists makes people sharper, more confident and better at making decisions. Am I ruining my brain by using GTD and writing everything that I have to remember, my next actions, into my index cards ? :D 3 Comments

I just read an article Simple ways to make yourself far cleverer, and it says among other things that: It's pretty much concluded that exercise, good diet, and decent amounts of sleep make your brain work better. Something about stimulus during exercise, the obvious health benefits to your body for eating healthy, and the sleep is a no brainer. The part about remembering lists is shown to help your memory. The good thing for you is that thinking about the list then writing the list down and reading the list helps you remember it because you combine more areas (visual, mechanical, etc) of your brain. Then again, I'm not a doctor but this is just the things I've read. Daniel » POSTED IN:
