New Job GTD?
Stew | Apr 7 2006
I'm starting a new job in a week, and will naturally fall into some GTD tendencies in the workplace. My current job is such where there is little need for GTD - sad but true. So my experience is limited to my home and personal life. Has anyone experienced having to fill an established job and have tried to implement GTD into it? 6 Comments

The hardest thing about doing a weekly review at work is that it's hard to find a quiet time. When I'm there, there are a lot of demands on my time from others Quote: I am not sure if I understand what excactly you are meaning here. Howerver, I think partly a division between "work" and "home" comes already built-in with GTD. For one you have the natural planning model with the question for the purpose of a given project. From there on it should be clear what the project is all about. Second, you have the 20,000 feets altitude / areas of responsibility thing: from my understanding this is basically a list (a nested one maybe even) that serves as an "anchor" for your projects.I'm really curious how other people separate their work and personal lives. » POSTED IN:
