Merlin, some time ago you said that you would give us your super-secret to empty the biggest DMZ email folder in 15 min. Care to share it now? I'm trying to empty my mailbox and it's such a pain. 16 Comments

Just thought I would give a virtual thumbs-up to the DMZ idea. I am just getting started with GTD and one of the things I have noticed is that I have a strange neurotic desire to cling onto things, and email in particular. I implemented a DMZ in Outlook like so: 1. Create a PST file I figured that, if I had an urgent need to get at some DMZ'ed emails, I could just open the PST file again and grab them. Guess what? I have yet to do that. Its ridiculous how few of my emails actually contain concrete actions. I suppose that comes from working with academics... :) D » POSTED IN:
