Hard Landscape
Jamie Phelps | Mar 29 2006
Do you put your "hard landscape" on your calendar? Particularly, I'm talking about the work schedules, class schedules, etc. that don't change for months at a time. My school schedule obviously changes every term, but after a week or two, I have it down and don't really need to look at my calendar for it. Of course, I track appointments and meetings and the like in my calendar, but sometimes, my repeating schedule just gets in the way and overwhelms me when I'm looking at iCal, so I end up turning it off. Any thoughts? PS - I'm wondering if I shouldn't have made this a poll. 6 Comments

I teach five short courses...Submitted by pooks on March 29, 2006 - 12:04pm.
I teach five short courses a year - three are 8 weeks long and 2 are 6 weeks long. Typically all I need to know is what day they start and from that point forward don't need to check anything -- I teach in the same building, the same day of the week, same hours, so the only thing that changes is the calendar date. However I do put them in my planner/calendar because I still find it helps me when I'm scheduling other meetings, appointments, trips, etc. to see them there so I don't slip up and make a mistake. » POSTED IN:
