GTD Outlook add-in?

A former coworker has been touting the benefits of the Outlook add-on available to download at David Allen's site, but I'm not convinced. Any comments? Does anyone out there love it? Why? Conversely, are there any haters out there? Why?

Danke.

I think it is far...

I think it is far too hard to "get rid of it" once you install it, personally.

I had fits trying to remove its grip over Outlook, but someone here helped me out;

File that away for later, just in case you don't like it.

If you live and die by Outlook, it isn't bad at all. I just refuse to hand everything over to it. I don't like Outlook and the only computer I have that runs it usually lives in the bottom of a drawer. So it makes no sense when I Get Things Done on other machines.

If you live in multiple worlds at all you should make sure you've exhausted all of your other options. I think most people should think long and hard before keeping personal information on company-issued kit. Do you really want your employer knowing what you do @home, who you are @call'ing?

That weighed very heavily into my decision to never touch Outlook except as required to.
