Depression and Not Getting Things Done

Apparently depression has been reduced to a mathematical formula :)

The part that caught my attention is that not getting things done is part of the formula.

I propose that the unit...

I propose that the unit of measure not be some wacky calculation but empirical data from actual society. As depression is a highly individual and subjective diagnosis, I suggest the use of suicide metrics. This will provide results that are more definite, or finite, as the case may be.

From various articles I get that either April, May, June and August are the peak months for suicides.

Ergo, neither today, tomorrow nor any of the "winter" months can be the most depressing day of the year.

:)ensen.

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
