@If Context

One of the problems I have is coordinating a particular action in one place so that I can complete it in another. For instance, grabbing a book from the office that is ready to be returned to the library as I go out to get coffee on the other side of campus.

Another similar example is that I meant to give something to a friend of mine, have had it in my pocket for several days now, but forgot to give it to him when I saw him today -- even though we spent a few hours together, eating and talking.

I thought about tackling this with dated tasks, which would certainly help in the situation with my friend, but it wouldn't help in the first example. So I think I'm going to try using @If contexts. An example would be, @If - Going past library, then grab book to take back. Or, @If - You see Mark, give him that thing.

Thoughts?

I also have a kind...

I also have a kind of @Errand context list but I add a little memory technique to it as well. Say that I put 10 bucks in my pocket to be sure I have it when I meet my friend. That is the first task so I actually have it availible when I meet him as we have no scheduled apointment to meet so I can return the 10 bucks which also could be away of doing it.
The next thing I do is to draw out a mental strange picture of it as for example seing his face starting to break up into small pieces that folds out to 10$ bills and fly away. The next time we meet that will be the first image I see and associate with him and will remeber the 10 bucks to return to him.
This is not completly by David Allen as he want to keep his head clear but if I will probably meet my friend in a near future this is one way of doing it...
