GTD Book vs. audio

I've ordered the book and am waiting for it now.

I notice that GTD is also available as audio, but it's an abridged version. I'm thinking of downloading it from audible for my husband, but hoped to get some feedback first.

My husband doesn't have the attention span for the book. For someone like that, does the audiobook have benefit, or do you think it would be confusing? We often listen to audibooks together in the car which is what made me think of it.

I got the book today and am about to dive in!
