Another small peeve

Merlin, I like the board, but there are a few tiny annoyances for me. Like solidsnot, I would like the breadcrumb trail at the bottom for when I get done with a thread. That's not really a big deal for me though because I use the New Posts link mostly and I have it in my Bookmarks Bar.

What I would like to see is a way to anchor where the new posts begin, so that when I click from New Posts, it shows me the new posts in the thread rather than requiring that I find the new ones at the end on my own. For an example of what I'm talking about, Ethan's kGTD page does this for new comments. Not sure if vBulletin has this available, but for the price, it should.

I can help with tweaks...

I can help with tweaks and improvements, since I work with vBulletin every day, and have been responsible for researching and implementing hacks and plugins for our forums. Just ask! :)

I'd love to implement a Flickr vB plugin, that will show the latest thumbnails from the tag "43folders", etc. in a sidebar, or at the bottom of the forum. Sound good?

That would be awesome. Will PM you. Thanks!

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
