"Perfect" iTunes equalizer setting

I noticed a lot of people are favoriting this screen grab of the "Perfect" iTunes equalizer setting (I posted it to Flickr, so I won't keep forgetting it when I need it). Ever since I saw this in that Mac OS X Hints article, I've used it as my default equalizer in iTunes -- it seems to give a nice pop to MP3 tracks in particular. On ye olde built in Powerbook speakers I like the setting posted by DrLex in the comments on that hint: Preamp -3.5 db -12, +6, +12, +1, -5, -3, 0, -1, +1, +3 db It makes the stream and podcast audio that I sometimes pipe through those speakers sound less transistor radio-like. I'm sure that maxed out 125hz band breaks a rule somewhere. But for helping to make the low end distinct from the ambient noise of hard drive spins et. al., it does the job. » POSTED IN:
