MacBreak Minute: LiteSwitch X
Merlin Mann | Jul 16 2007
In the latest episode of MacBreak Minutes (subscribe), I talked about a favorite PreferencePane of mine called LiteSwitch. LiteSwitch takes the basic app-switching functionality of OS X and adds some handy features, such as the ability to quit (or force-quit), relaunch, hide, reveal, Get Info, and more. Once you get used to this new power under your fingers, you'll never go back.

And don't forget, unlike the built-in app switcher, LiteSwitch sorts the icons of the displayed apps by the order they've been used, with the most recent apps sorted to the left. So, if you're switching back and forth between two apps, it only takes two presses of the tab key with the command key down to switch between them. Whereas the built-in app switcher can take up to n+1 tab-key presses, where n is the number of applications running. » POSTED IN:
