Most of the difficulties we adults face today when dealing with kids and young adults didn't originate with their schools. It's a lack of quality care and committment from their parents. Parents pack them off from birth and leave the "raising" to others, or worse, they're left to raise themselves. With all the drug problems in today's society (including the moms and dads) and the "it's all about me" attitudes stemming from the parents, it's no wonder kids are dysfunctional and selfish. They are their parents exemplified. I agree with Liz...make Home Economics mandatory for all students. » POSTED IN:
