We've started a new feature over on MacBreak Weekly that I really hope becomes a regular thing: "_Mac Whines_!" Yeah, sure, I'm an unapologetic Apple fanboy (I, mean duh), but some stuff about my Mac experience makes me crazy. Have you got a beef with your Mac or OS X you want to shout from the shiny counter of the "Genius" Bar? Yeah, me too. I'll open with:

Here are three of my whines! Why is it every time I RIP one of my CDs in Itunes, I have to create a playlist after it auto imports the album into the library? My work around is not to allow Itunes to import into the library. Once the CDDB database names the album I drag the cd into the playlist pane. Why is it that every html tag linked to a file gets downloaded to your desktop. Especially PDFs. Why can't the finder keep track of the way I like to view my folders. You modify them and go back later to the same unorganized directory views. » POSTED IN:
