Oops .. sorry, that should be "icon + text" ;) ..So, my other biggest gripe about the finder: goddamn random order when dragging multiple files. Select a whole bunch of mp3's and drag them into iTunes: the result? Bloody scrambled file-order. Same goes for copying: often can't be sure the files will go there. Yet, if you drag a folder full of files, the files within are treated in order. This wasn't the way it was in OS9, in fact there was rather sophisticated control of the order depending on how you selected them.

Never heard a decent explanation as to why this was. It seriously bugs the hell out of me. But I must investigate the mention I heard of this not being the case in column view. (Shame I hate the column view.) :)
