We've started a new feature over on MacBreak Weekly that I really hope becomes a regular thing: "_Mac Whines_!" Yeah, sure, I'm an unapologetic Apple fanboy (I, mean duh), but some stuff about my Mac experience makes me crazy. Have you got a beef with your Mac or OS X you want to shout from the shiny counter of the "Genius" Bar? Yeah, me too. I'll open with:

4 items to whine about........ 1: iTunes should support 3rd party devices (you know the ones which show up as mass media devices) but check to make sure you're not trying to transfer any DRMed stuff onto your device which won't play. 2: Mounted Volumes Bringing the OS to its knees when they are diconnected...... as mentioned above (alot!). 3: WiFi Security needs to be compatible accross the board, I don't need that "to connect to the Airport network from a computer not using Airport software you should use the following:" rubbish, who wants to input a 26 character Hex equivalent????? 4: iCal calendar sharing, please get this sorted out so more than one user can edit a single calendar....... » POSTED IN:
