We've started a new feature over on MacBreak Weekly that I really hope becomes a regular thing: "_Mac Whines_!" Yeah, sure, I'm an unapologetic Apple fanboy (I, mean duh), but some stuff about my Mac experience makes me crazy. Have you got a beef with your Mac or OS X you want to shout from the shiny counter of the "Genius" Bar? Yeah, me too. I'll open with:

You can't use shuffle in iTunes if your music is on a DAAP server. I can't think of any technical reason why not, given that you can shuffle an .m3u playlist. Mail gets really slow if you have 30,000 mail messages in a hundred or so folders. iPhoto insists on arranging photos the way it wants, rather than letting me keep them in the folder structure that I want. 2 different incompatible sticky note programs, apparently about to be joined by a 3rd stick note feature in mail. I just want one stick notes program, local network enabled. » POSTED IN:
