Apple - QuickTime - Macworld 2007 Keynote Wow. Everyone here in the MacBreak war room is still perspiring as we let it all sink in. OS X. On your phone. Damn. So what do you guys think about Steve's announcements? What surprised you? What else do you wish you'd heard? What do you think it will mean to have running OS X on your mobile phone? 56 Comments

So the iTV is a smaller Mac Mini with less usability and slightly better digital outputs for a little less money?? No thanks. Mac Mini + Front Row = home theatre sexiness. Why offer something with a smaller harddrive and slightly better version of Front Row for only a little less cash? (let's face it, that's all that front-end was... glorified, updated Front Row) I can get an entire, functional system if I just spend a LITTLE more... ya the Mac Mini is slighly larger, but by what... maybe 2, 2.5 times as tall? Whoopie, it's HUGE... Canadians, fear not - the GSM network is what Rogers uses. We should be able to utilize that sexy iPhone on the Rogers network. There are a couple other networks here that use it as well. The phone is great - certainly not for someone without oodles of cash, though. Too bad we can't get the same hardware for a bit cheaper. I understand why, I mean look at that thing... but I can't afford a $699 phone/iPod. Especially if it's only 8Gb. » POSTED IN:
