Apple - QuickTime - Macworld 2007 Keynote Wow. Everyone here in the MacBreak war room is still perspiring as we let it all sink in. OS X. On your phone. Damn. So what do you guys think about Steve's announcements? What surprised you? What else do you wish you'd heard? What do you think it will mean to have running OS X on your mobile phone? 56 Comments

The most impressive thing for me was the corporate name change. No longer Apple Computer as all the Amazon advertisements on your page state, just Apple - like most of us have called them all along. Maybe that's why they were playing all the Beatles' music, to rub it in Apple Records face. "Nyah, nyah! We are Apple!" I think that they have definitely changed the mobile phone world. Now I will have to hear more annoying sounds from the urban environment as people assign irritating noises to their incoming calls and incoming chat messages with the Mac ease of customization. I didn't want another phone - just a widescreen iPod - and maybe PDA. Tepid response from me. » POSTED IN:
