Apple - QuickTime - Macworld 2007 Keynote Wow. Everyone here in the MacBreak war room is still perspiring as we let it all sink in. OS X. On your phone. Damn. So what do you guys think about Steve's announcements? What surprised you? What else do you wish you'd heard? What do you think it will mean to have running OS X on your mobile phone? 56 Comments

Bottom line for the Emory...Submitted by Emory (not verified) on January 10, 2007 - 11:28am.
Bottom line for the Emory Household: I would buy two, Day One, if I can buy them unlocked and unbranded. If someone figures out how to unlock them (and I don't give a shit about Visual Voicemail /yawn) I will get two Cingular lines, get two iPhones, break contract for 150 each, and be happy. Apple nailed it. My only reservation is how they're going to handle 3rd-party applications and access to the device. There is the potential to have more mobile developers than any other platform overnight if they just let the device take code from external sources. In all honesty I don't see any reason why they wont allow developers to have a "back door" developer mode on a handset. » POSTED IN:
