Apple - QuickTime - Macworld 2007 Keynote Wow. Everyone here in the MacBreak war room is still perspiring as we let it all sink in. OS X. On your phone. Damn. So what do you guys think about Steve's announcements? What surprised you? What else do you wish you'd heard? What do you think it will mean to have running OS X on your mobile phone? 56 Comments

The phone is triple-wow. I was really afraid that Steve should disappoint us here, as the expectations have been skyhigh. But Apple even topped that. Impressive. Apple TV. Meh. I really can't understand why it's so hard for Apple, desig-and-UI-gods-of-the-universe, to put a tuner and a decent EPG in that box. Make us a mediacenter, not a frontend to the iTunes store. And if it's streaming, and only streaming, where's the connection to YouTube and Google videos in Apple TV? Or did I miss something? I'm also a bit disappointed that Steve didn't talk a single word about OS X. It was just "gadgets night". I guess that will come later. About the multitouch technology, imagine that used for a 30" display?? And integrated into the os? I've posted about it at my site. Anyone know if that would be possible at all? » POSTED IN:
