Ejector: One-click ejects all mounted media

freshmeat.net: Project details for Ejector I love little Mac apps that just do one thing and do it well, and I'd definitely put Ejector in that camp. Mounted media like hard drives, iPods, compact flash cards, DMGs, servers, and assorted Firewire and USB toys can really accumulate on your Desktop throughout the day. If, like me, you're forever scooting your laptop from place to place, it starts to be an ongoing pain to go to the Desktop and responsibly eject all your crap before unplugging (failure to do so can damage media and the precious data they contain). With Ejector, you get a handy, system-wide menu for ejecting any or all of the mounted media and servers you have running. Easy as that (plus it's free and a Universal Binary). The only thing that would make it better for me would be Quicksilver integration, so I could 6 Comments
