Eightface: "Status Page" plugin for WordPress

myStatus plugin for WordPress // eightface

Remember the "status page" post? Well our pal, Dave Kellam, has whipped a sweet little WordPress plugin that makes it really easy to bullet out some points right on your page:

This plugin allows you to create a number of fields specifying your current status and easily insert them into your templates...

You’re welcome to leave comments and suggestions, but be warned, I’ll probably try to keep things fairly simple.

I agree with Dave. I like it nice and simple.

Dave's status page is fun, and here's the first cut of mine. (Yeah, I know. Super-helpful, Merlin. Well, shut up, it's Friday.)

Update 2005-10-31 08:50:59

With some able advice from Dave and Ethan I've added a more blown-out status page, which includes quick documentation on how to make your own. Fly your freak flag, Nerdlinger!

No LJ plugins, as far...

No LJ plugins, as far as they know. They run the site rather tightly, and I'm sure they won't allow users to add plug-ins.

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
