Everybody needs a personal "status" page

Lots of sites have status pages. I wish more people had them.
Yeah, status pages for people should be more popular, and I also wish they were a bit easier to make and maintain. It would be a nifty way to display information like:
I've long had a Lazy Web wish for a little perl script that could That way you could maintain a bunch of easy lists and the script does all the building and posting automagically. You could fake this with a blogging tool, but I like the idea of having it all updated in the background. Got a good personal status page? Seen one you liked? What would you post on yours? [...] I was reading Tony’s CodeMode Chronicles this afternoon and came across his note on ‘Everybody needs a personal “status” page‘ at 43folders. I realized that I’d been starting to do list just about the same information at the top of the menu here. It isn’t exactly dynamic or overflowing with cool stuff, but a start. I wandered over to the WordPress support forums to see what kinda cool stuff they may have already have come up with in this area. I didn’t come up with anything cool so I posted something to get the creative juices flowing. So you don’t have to bounce around to read it, here is what I said: I’d like to see a “Personal Status” page or some such idea.
