Nerdy confession, on the Japanese filing system: I don't file my papers that way, but I do hang my clothes in my closet that way: most recently laundered shirts on the left. When deciding what to wear, I choose the rightmost shirt that appeals to me. This means I can vary my clothes without thinking. I also get a buildup of clothes on the far right that I never want to wear - candidates for storing/discarding/donating - which is similar to the "filtering" described in the article. » POSTED IN:
