Web 1.0 is just around the corner, so iron your New Media Blue™ shirt and recharge your ginormous cellphone, because we’re going public, bitch.
So. What remains is to nail down the coordinates. I’m going to a big blow-out on Thursday (the 6th), but I wonder if actual Web 2.0 attendees can clue me to any other major evening events on whose toes we mustn’t step. Spill, please. Netscape bugs, PUSH technology, web-safe gifs, sticky eyeballs, clicks to bricks.... Can i have a 15 ft high red gorilla as my company mascot/logo? Can I display it on a public street for 2 years after we go bust? Yes, yes you can. Endless rounds of proactive meetings, and drunken recruiting parties, my wrist hurts from playing foosball, did you know he's addicted to meth/coke/booze and sleeps in his office, yes the CEO he has no home. But hes a "genius" visionary... I'll arrive on my orange kozmo scooter, it'll fly out the back of a webvan freezer truck and I'll be handing out flooze to everyone.... yay! » POSTED IN:
