New model: Moleskine Reporter Notebooks
Merlin Mann | Mar 18 2005
Moleskine Reporter Notebooks, MoleskineUS Drool. Spanking new Moleskine reporter notebooks look really nice. Can’t wait to pick one up for myself. Looks like they’re very similar to the old-school classic Moleskine, but with the flippable top-binding and a vertically-oriented accordion pocket. The immediate improvement I can see would be for writing in cramped places—like the top of your thigh while riding the bus. I wonder if the binding allows it to flip over completely without damaging the spine. Anxious to hear what other folks think of these. Anyone tried them yet? I was shopping for a gift for a loved one when I discovered Moleskine at a local shop. I'd never had an address book of any kind before -- I had simply collected (and misplaced) notes of friends' numbers and info, business cards, and the like. I routinely dismissed any advice to change my disorderly habits. I guess I was looking for the right item for my taste. The Moleskine address book was what I had seemingly been searching for all my adult life -- an address book that was elegant, small, and functional. And yes, orderly. I picked one up on the spot. That was two years ago, and it has since become an essential part of my "personal office." I doubt anything will take the place of my Moleskine address book. And I can't resist the temptation it gives me to nickname it my "little black book," because that's exactly fitting. Like the line in the Guinness ad: "A little black book! Brilliant!" Brilliant. » POSTED IN:
