More Moleskine Hacks

Everytime I pick up a new Moleskine, I’m reminded how much I freaking love these things. I got a fresh one the other day at Flax, so why not mention a few new Moleskine hacks?

thanks for the great tips! I too am an avid moleskin freak. I took a moleskin with me on my last Europe trip, and it was great. I (of course, who doesn't?) numbered all of my pages. Hack 1: the header on each new entry is in the upper outside corner. It lists not only the date but the time, location (ie apt # 123) and city/country (Leiden, NL). Now, I know how late I was up, where the hell I was exactly, and where I happened to be on my journey. It's wonderful to see notations like "garden outside Chester Beatty Library, Dublin, IRL." hack 2: I kept track of all my museums by writing them in a list starting on the last page of the moleskin and working backwards. I hit 73 unique museums in 4 months. I have a record of the museum name, location, cost, and the date. I wish I had left some more room for my thoughts on the museum, altho my sketch book (also dated) has drawings and notes from the museums I went to. Being a scientist, I usually use the quad-lined moleskin. However, I love the unlined for making notes and keeping in my pocket for general use. thank you to Mike for the cargo pants hack. I wear cargoes all the time, but I've never gotten them from Eddie Bauer. I'll check them out and snag a moleskin to drop in my cargoes, because I'm always wishing I had somewhere to write things. » POSTED IN:
