Using Eastgate's Tinderbox for GTD implementation

Tinderbox Wiki: GettingThingsDone I haven’t kept up much with its recent development, but I know Tinderbox has been a terrific, versatile application that’s just about perfect for GTD implementation in many ways. Bit of a steep learning curve, but a lot of folks says it’s worth it. I’ve certainly enjoyed tinkering with it in the past, and I still find it very satisfying as a mind-mapping tool and occasional IA app. It’ll be swell when programs like Tinderbox and OmniOutliner, as well as promising-looking OSX newcomers like Shadow Plan, eventually start to talk to each other seamlessly (and without the need for explicit export/import). At this point, it seems you really need to commit yourself to a single app if you’re going to develop the level of trust in your system that’s needed to make GTD really sizzle. But, I can certainly envision a time when different apps might provide completely different ways to view and manipulate your data (e.g., graphical map, outline, RDF, structured text)—all based on the same XML-based file. On the topic of Wikis, you could always try out Instiki. I've been using that on my Powerbook, but I've also installed it OK on my windows XP desktop at work. I really enjoy just how simple it is. Some of the tasks I have to organize come with massive amounts of background information that I have to consider when I get a chance, or at the time of when I tackle it. The end result here is I have a simple yet powerful location that I can store things & my GTD lists ;) YMMV of course. Great site by the way.
