Quicksilver, proxies, and Safari

Since reading Merlin's post here, I've been using proxies all the time!

I just updated to Leopard and have one problem: The quicksilver proxies selection doesn't seem to work in Safari, but it does everywhere else. Anyone know a workaround?

very low-fi hipster

I have been using a very simple single sheet PDA. I dislike the amount of 'work' that some of the PDA version require...taping card together etc.. This is a bit more open to chaos and is also designed to drive reflection / modeling of the world around us.

Slipbox anyone?

I've just come across Slipbox, a freeware freeform notetaking tool. Looks a bit like a combination of Notational Velocity and Devonthink. Seems interesting but a bit confusing. It also seems like it would need to be filled with content before one could judge the function and helpfulness of its "associative" search capacity -- so I'm wondering if any forum readers have used it and could comment on that.

Seeking info re Miquelrius hack

I have a small Miquelrius notebook, 200 leaves, approximately 4"x6". I intend to use it and two similar-sized Moleskine Cahiers as my go-everywhere notetaking system. What I am looking for is a cover for the Miquelrius that I can put the back cover into and then use the front flap to secure the two Cahiers. (Think one of those covers that people like At A Glance sell for their products, only a different size.) Oh, and something that doesn't cost $70-plus, like all of the Levenger products.

Has anyone had this problem, and come up with a solution?

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »
