Google Docs and Spreadsheet thoughts...

Hi everyone,
This is my first post on the boards...just read GTD, emptied my mind, but am now in search of a good-for-me way to implement it all.
Anyway, short story is that I need a digital solution as I love paper but crave syncing and feel imcomplete without something electronic ruling my life. That said, the palm TX I just bought doesn't feel quite right and I search for something more suitable and OS X friendly that has a keyboard. Why oh why can't they make a good portable PDA - with or without a phone who cares - that has a decent qwerty keyboard, touchscreen, etc. Those blackberry/treo keyboards just kill me.

I just stumbled upon google's new Docs and Spreadsheets and instantly thought of it as a potential portable capture device/support document mechanism/etc. If you haven't checked it out, try docs.google.com and experience it for yourself.

In the meantime, if anyone has any thoughts on my current device quandry, I'd appreciate any suggestions. I really feel like the perfect handheld device just does not exist yet. Something like an iPod in its fit-for-purpose and rugged practicality.

Adam

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless
