Tracks::GTD who's using it?
wwalker | Jan 24 2006
I came to read this forum to get ideas before starting a Ruby on Rails (a web development system) project to do 43 folders. I found in nearly the last post I read a reference to Tracks::GTD (http://www.rousette.org.uk/projects/). Being a Ruby on Rails app, you can just install Ruby, then Rails on your computer (Windows, Linux, OSX...) and in a few minutes have Tracks running. It looks good to me so far. Who else is using it? any comments or pointers? Wayne 46 Comments

Merlin is firmly entrenched in kGTD with OmniOutliner so don't coun't on a review of Tracks from him. So, why with the reversion? I feel like I'm much better off when I'm working off my cards because I know what is there, but I definatly see the appeal of using Tracks. I play with it every new build and like it and all but find carrying cards much more effective. I think I'm just squeemish about all the requirements Tracks has. I don't want to have too much apriori knowledge to work on my projects, and when I'm using my index cards, they're always around and require no power or IP. » POSTED IN:
